North Arrow

North Arrow Horseback Archery was born out of a desire to develop and improve. Horseback archery is still a small sport that requires professionals to grow. Our passion is to take the sport forward, towards a worthy equestrian sport as part of the competitive sports and hobby culture. We offer horseback archery coaching, workshops and lessons, stunts and riders for shows, horse training services and psychological coaching.

Who would have thought what would come from a harmless sport experiment. The hit of an arrow on the target - I was hooked in an instant. I have always been driven by a strong need to develop and challenge myself. Horseback archery is full of short, objectively measurable performances. The fast-paced sport suited me. Half a thousand training hours a year aim to maximize a simple performance: shooting from horseback as accurately and quickly as possible.

I have ridden a lot before starting shooting. Two things stand out above all others with horses: cooperation with the animal and adrenaline. I enjoy almost as much exercising a featherweight horse as hanging upside down from a galloping horse. I have worked and trained at various film, show, racing, sales and equestrian archery stables around the world, where I have become familiar with different ways of training, caring for and riding horses. From these same trips, I have not only picked up a wide toolbox for horse training, but also more specialized disciplines such as stunt riding. This spectacular discipline is a good example of what can be done with horses other than sitting in the saddle.

Competitions have been a significant attraction for me in equestrian archery from the very beginning. Events are not only important indicators of my own development, but also an opportunity to get to know and network with people who share the same passion. I never thought that in an individual sport I would feel like I was part of such a warm-hearted "team" consisting of the entire team of competitors, cheering for each other and playing together for the development of the sport.

Competition has taken me all over the world. In 2019 alone, I trained and competed in horseback archery in over 10 different countries, from Asia to the Middle East and all over Europe.

During my travels, I got to know the Polish professional equestrian archery team AMM Archery, who accepted me as their first international member in 2019. Since then, I have spent significant time in Poland every year, practicing, performing, working and competing with my team.

In 2020-2021, I studied to become a mental coach for two reasons: to improve the performance of my students and to improve my own performance. I have succeeded in both. My studies have focused on studying solution-oriented psychology, during which I have become more familiar with sports psychology. Mental skills can be developed just like physical ones, and their impact on the competition field, in training or in everyday life should not be underestimated.

In 2023, after a successful year of competition, I moved to France to work as a professional stuntman in shows and films in addition to teaching.

I am grateful that I have been able to turn my passion into a profession and continue to teach what I love the most. I still compete actively and my goals are getting tougher every year. You can follow my journey as an athlete on separate social media accounts.
